Rain becomes ocean again

In separation, go

the trinkets,

the decorative edges

and frills,

the lace panties

and stockings

holding the flesh

of your lover

They go,

out like lightning

with a bang and a

whipped-up frenzy

to sea

Rain becomes

ocean again

After all storms

there is debris

and quietude

renewal and growth

fresh greenery

And a promise

of more to come
